Printing to HP Windows shared computer

    Hello everyone,

    I'm trying to print to a windows shared HP Deskjet 5550 from my macbook. The printer is shared over the network - and when I print just blank pages are printed.

    I know special drivers are needed on my macbook to print over a network to a windows shared printer - does anyone know where I can get them? (Not PPC versions)

    I am in a similar situation and would like some help as well. I have an HP 5150 connected to a Windows computer on my network. I can browse shared folders from my mac on the windows pc and vice versa. If I try to print it justs comes out as garbage. I am using Generic Post Script Printer selection as my model was not available in the list. I tried updated drivers from HP's website to no avail.

    I installed a different but similar Deskjet driver, as my specific one wasn't available. Try any HP Deskjet driver and see if it works (I used the 995C driver; seems to work OK).
