Problem with messages.app (could be quick fix?)

Hello,
For the life of me I can not figure out how to get my picture to show up in the messages app. I have a picture set for my contact card which includes the email I am using to send messages with and one for my log in, however every time I send an iMessage or a message using google talk this is all I see…
