Problem with network in finder

I don't really know what my problem is, but when I select "network" from the finder, three folders show up (users, applications, library) instead of other computers on my network. I just noticed this today. I would normally see the "my network" folder and a couple of others. Anyone have any idea what has happened?

EDIT: apparently my network was ejected - never seen that happen

yeah, once finder has connected to your other workgroups, it's given the eject icon like any other drive you can mount. normally force restart of finder can allow you to reconnect to your workgroups.

i hate network issues. even small ones
