I'm having trouble playing some AVI files. Quicktime always says that the files are corrupt or that they ended prematurely. The files are segments of a 3-part whole. I keep retrying to get the files as new, but quicktime always says that they're corrupt. Is there any other program I can play them with or possibly repair them with?

There have been a couple threads on avi files.

I wouldn't get your hopes up - you wont be able to play a lot of them. Many videos (especially the ones of P2P networks) use the latest codecs that are only available for Windows. But there are some solutions on the mac side, search for a thread on avi.

I see you already posted another thread :)
