    Basically it goes like this...

I love editing video but I currently have nothing to edit (and not photos to play around with in Aperture) :( So the idea is to come up with something for me to do with with the equipment in my times of having nothing to do. Requirements are as follows:

    • Can only use one camera
    • I have to be able to do it alone
    • I don't really want to have to go anywhere far

Other than that anything's good so lay your creative juices down on the page.

Have you thought about trying some machinima, or even just making a trailer or 30 second commercial for your favorite game?

Oh man, I wish had free time to do things I love.

What hobbies do you have other than film-making and apple computers? Or do you have friends with fun and interesting hobbies?

    Try this:

Get some footage of a 'standard scene' and see how you get completely different moods by altering

    • camera position (i.e. low and high angels)
    • lighting (i.e. different times of day, midday, sunset)
    • editing speed (cuts and film speed)
    • music
It will help you in the future when have idea you what to get across. Remember people will only watch your stuff if they are somehow emotionally moved. Feeling is everything.
