    MRoogled, found nothing.

Just noticed that there are now over 16000 books under 'Free Books', in the UK at least. This appears to be new. They all seem to be Project Gutenburg, but with a few exceptions. It's a pretty major update though, up to most of the classics you could name. Thought it best to share!

Now, back to scanning through them all for a hefty mass download...

I don't think it's new but I could be wrong. It is pretty cool though. :D

Pretty sure they were all there in the US at least from the start ... it is a big part of how ALL the ereader stores tout massive amounts of available titles ...

I downloaded several hundred gutenburg books starting from when the iPad was rolled out. It's quite nice.

I wish we could get the encyclopedia Britannica on the iPad.
