I've just noticed (call me slow;) ) that in X.1.2 (not sure about previous versions) you can move through the pull down menus using the arrows on a keyboard, kind of a-la-windows. What i still haven't figured out is whether you can get the menus to open in the first place, just by using a keyboard. Does anyone know the key-stroaks needed for that, if it is indeed possible?

    1. Go into your System Preferences.
    2. Click on Keyboard.
    3. Click on Full Keyboard Access tab.
    4. Enable the full keyboard access.

From now on, to access the menu bar via keyboard, hit control+F2 and use your arrow keys.
