Ok, Lion was my first ever experience with OS X, I bought an iMac back in Nov 2011, and have since also bought a MacBook Pro. (Love OS X btw) But my question is, to upgrade them both, will I have to buy Mountain Lion twice at $29.99 or like Windows do they have a special price for upgrading multiple machines? Thanks for any help.

It's from the App Store so one purchase and it's licensed to all your personal machines.

When you buy it on one you can then login to your account on the other machine and download it from your Purchased section.

It's all of them, like any iOS or MAS app. Anything tied to your AppleID.

"Up to 5" is for DRM'ed iTunes content.
