Powerbooks recently saw a price drop.

If new Powerbooks are announced in the next week or so, will the existing Powerbooks drop in price again?

By how much can one expect them to go down by?

Also, will the new Powerbooks be sold at the current price or a higher one.

Thanks!
Frez

I would imagine that the prices will remain the same as long as we have G4 PBs. Once they go to G5s... who knows.

They did?

Apple tends to release new products at the same price point, and drop older product's prices. But slowly prices head down... sometimes they go up, however.

Apple readjusted the international prices because of the change of the dollar.
Not a real price drop. :)

Oh, right, I remember that. I just didn't remember the prices dropping.

In that case, no price drop on the new ones, old ones most likely. A few hundred bucks...
