I would prefer to buy online from AT&T, as it's easier (for me) to get a FAN discount that way. I can also order Applecare+ along with the purchase. My question is regarding any potential return for a problem. With A+ can I return the phone directly to Apple for a replacement or does it have to go to AT&T? I would prefer to deal with Apple after purchase. I'm not looking for a discussion on FAN discounts. I just want to know whether purchasing A+ from AT&T when I buy a phone allows me to do any returns/replacements directly to Apple. Thanks!
