So i have the RAM, but the only screwdriver i have that fits has a magnetic tip to it. Is this going to be a problem?? I dont want to poke around with a magnet so close to the internals if its going to cause problems!

It is not a problem. The only thing affected by a magnet (a strong magnet) is your hard drive. But a small screwdriver poses zero threat to your hard drive. Not to mention the part you are unscrewing is a magnetic barrier. You are a-ok to install that RAM!
