where could I look up something about a common question people ask about medicine when someone has to go back on and they say that they can accept it, that it is a good thing ? Where can I find out about that?

I had to read that twice, and very slowly the second time 'round, and I still don't know what you're talking about...

It's easy when you have the thing where people accept what telling you say to them and it's a bad thing some people think but it's really okay. And stuff like that.

You want to find out if it's safe to start taking a medication again after you stopped for a while?

and someone has said that it is...but you want to check?

and you're asking what would be the best resource to find this out?

    You sound a bit confused.

You might just want to check with your doctor. Afterall, some types of medicine will go bad after a time and can actually do more harm than good.

Same holds true for using someone else's prescription medicine.

    AWESOME! Another indifference thread!!

I can't wait until you finish medical school!

I'd say you have 5 options.

    01) Read a PDR.
    02) Get a second opinion from another physician.
    03) Kidnap a hobo.
    04) Cook breakfast fritatas
    05) Make a pie with Grandma
    06) Stuff raw meat in your pants.
    07) Make a tin foil hat. Wear it.
    08) Imbibe too much alcohol. Vomit.
    09) Pay it forward.
    10) Throw a pie at Grandma
    11) Rob a little kid's lemonade stand
    12) Buy an interior decoration magazine.
    13) Cook hobo chili with your kidnaped (and now best friend) hobo.
    14) Plant a tree. [dreamy]
    15) Pick a zit. Circle the bloody stump with a marker.
    16) Drive the wrong way down a one way street, backwards.
    17) Make promises you don't intend to keep.
    18) French kiss a reptile.
    19) Get reacquainted with your liver. Or your brain. Whatever.
    20) Lather, Rinse, Repeat.

I'd suggest you try WebMD, but I don't want to interrupt the fun in this thread, so...

It depends entirely on the medicine you're asking about. Unfortunately there's no clearinghouse for all medication information, perhaps if you could be more specific (post it's clinical or retail name) and maybe any specific fears you have, who knows, perhaps someone else here has been on the med.

indifference, you definitely need to be a little more specific about what type of medical information you are inquiring about. Google is a very good friend. I'm a nurse, so many areas of inquiry I could probably be of assistance. Just let me know if I can help. Or you can PM me if your prefer. ;)

It is a good thing for the person in question to accept the medicinal answers he wants to answer himself.
