have any of you heard of "black death vodka"? has a picture of s skeleton on the side.
No but Google has. Must confess to sticking to the various Absoluts from duty free
Appears that it comes from Luxembourg.
yes i know i had it once when i was in poland and i wanted to know if anyone else knew about it other than search engines. only one place i found even ships it to the states.
as far as my vodka of couce though it has to be belvedere or level
Must be a common name across Europe then. My wife's Icelandic cousins have provided us with a few bottles of "svarta daudi". Pity I can't stand vodka. I prefer "uisce beatha".
yeah - I've had some of that before. I don't recall it being startlingly great though.
no its not that specificaly good. i just collect vodka, and it has a cool bottle and i want it haah. i was wondering if it is commonly sold around europe or if it is more of a rarity
I think it's fairly common in the UK - though maybe not that popular. I'd have bought it from the local supermarket when I was at uni - we had a penchant for buying odd named/labelled stuff (to make evil punch I might add )
I agree with you about Absolut being the best tasting vodka (hence my moniker), but I still prefer Glenfiddich any day. There's something about a good single malt scotch that the others just don't have IMHO.
I once had some bourbon named "Knob Creek", got the bottle too as we finished it and it was £4 a shot!
It was pretty strong stuff.
There is nothing like real bourbon.
Yeah I've had it - it's OK but not brilliant. Anyone in London should head to Gerry's on Old Compton St and buy a Polish vodka called Bitter Stomach. It's an evil brown colour but tastes wonderful - one of my Polish mates brings me some every time he goes home
the really cool thing i tried there was Sebor absinth that was one good freakin day
man ketel one over absolut, jewel of russia over absolut, stoli over absolut...the goose over absolut...
thena again its always a matter of taste...my heart lies with jewel
im not a huge vodka person myself, i love jager
