Ok this might be off topic but I was just wondering today...


So you know how usually a harddrive is labeled the "C" drive? And the DVD/CD drive is labeled "D"? What happened to drives A and B? What/where are they?

DOS rears it's ugly head, yet again!

A: Originally was the 5.5" floppy - slowly became 3.5" somewhat floppy.
B: Originally was additional 5.5" - slowly went away.

Those were the days - NOT! Actually they were 5.25" floppies. I remember backing up my 20Meg hard disk to about 35 floppies. Man that was a chore.
