I just got Keynote (I'm fed up with having old slides made in PPT X look crappy in PPT 2004) and I have a couple of questions:

How do you draw a simple curve (or can you)?

    How about a curved arrow?

Will my old Powerpoint slides translate reasonably well?

I'm sure I have some more questions, but these are my big ones right now. The shape palette looks woefully restricted...

    1) Photoshop Illustrator or GIMP - or any Graphics Design APP

    3) They should translate well.

Sorry, but you can't create curved lines or that using just Keynote.

So...I basically have to guess how I want the curve to look, make it in Illustrator, and then copy/paste it into Keynote? That blows...big time.

I find it hard to believe that Apple could have forgotten to include a freehand tool...ugh.

I did a whole slide presentation in ppt then opened it in keynote, and keynote automatically saved the template as one of its own. It exports really well.
