My dad is telling me the original iPod photo came with five or six songs already stored on the hard drive for free. I'm not calling him a liar, but I just wanted to see if this information is correct. It doesn't sound like Apple to include a handful of songs by default...

Perhaps he caught one of the free iTunes New Music samplers that was loaded during install time? I first found out about them when installing my wife's mini.

Oh the iTunes New Music Sampler? I have that too, under Purchased Music. I think he was talking about directly on the hard drive, though. Software-wise, that's different. I'll clarify tomorrow. :) Thanks for reminding me.
