I would like to install Windows on my Mac (Bootcamp is the best way right?) so that I can play A.C. Syndicate. Neither of these are in the App store though. Do I need to go to a store to buy Windows as well as the game or can they be quickly and safely downloaded somewhere online?

I've never used Windows on a Mac before. I'd like to do this on a new tMBP 15".

You can buy Windows directly from Microsoft's online store, then use Boot Camp Assistant to setup your hard drive and create a USB stick to install it.

Once installed, use Steam or Origin (Steam is better) to purchase and install AC Syndicate.

Syndicate is a pretty demanding game, hopefully you've got a powerful MBP to run it on!

Boot Camp is a utility included in OSX. Just do a spotlight search for it. Apple's Instructions are here:
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204990

Windows can be purchased online from Microsoft:
https://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/en_US/cat/Windows-10-/categoryID.70036700
Download the ISO file, as it will be needed by Bootcamp.

PC/Mac games are as a standard purchased through Valve's Steam service:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/368500/

However, the publisher Ubisoft does have their own store service as well where it can be bought:
https://www.ubisoft.com/en-US/game/assassins-creed-syndicate/ (Just click the Buy Now button)
