Very tempting, and I've got half a Pismo that may do well in trade. However, I'm sure you'd want a full working Pismo in trade ;)

I'm trying to work out a deal with a friend to trade an external display for her old titanium PB (667, 768ram, 30HD, AirPort). Would you trade for that and a 10GB 2nd gen iPod?

Also, is this a DVI or VGA model? the port on the back will be one of the two? and whats the optical drive?

Well, I've come to have a reputation around here for being the ressurector of Pismos. That is, I've been buying up broken Pismos, and frankensteining the good parts together. I've got one working Pismo, one Pismo that is only half the necessary parts, and a whole bunch of spare parts. The main issue with the project machine is that it lacks a screen. That's why I said it's half a Pismo ;)

I posted my 867 around two months ago for $600 and I had no offers. I felt it was a fair deal based upon the going prices I had seen on ebay. No one even looked at it. Personally, I don't think there is a great audience here both in size and rationalization of what a fair price is. I really feel your best bet is ebay and you should be able to get close to what you are looking for. BTW, I sold mine on ebay a few weeks ago for $598.00. Also, it cost me $35 to ship using UPS ground with added insurance. The computer itself weighs 35 pounds and then another 5 pounds for packing. I hope that helps.
