Is it possible with quicktime pro to take a section of a video and export it.

for example. if I want to pull out 1:42 to 3:55 and export it to mp4 is this possible?

    In more words:

    1. Open the movie that contains the desired clip on QTPro
    2. Using the provided pointers underneath the timebar select the clip you want to export
    3. Select "Edit", "Trim to selection"
    4. Make sure you have the beggining and the end right on the clip, otherwise, trim again, or undo.
    5. Select "File", "Export", and select a format and destination for your clip
