i was just taking the case off my belt, and the little hole that the axle goes through completly snapped in two. you can also see that the plastic is starting to turn white from stress on the other side too.
now i just called applecare, and they said that because this is the situation, they would send me out a new one. the thing was, i didn't use the belt clip much on my belt, i used it more on my outside rim of my jeans pocket, so it wouldn't get much wear. i bought it used in april, it was new in Jan 2003. So the case is barly a year old.
on a seperate note, has anyone bought the new in-ear headphones? how they sound compared to the stock ones? are new ipods shipping with these new headphones as a BTO option? anyone advise for or against them?
also, has anyone used the cleaner ICE CREAM by Radtech? any recommendations?
