looks kinda cool
not too bad....
would be cool if it were real...
Too bad, I wish they did have rack mount servers
Made up off..
The server is made of an iBook, Powermac G4 and top of a G4 Cube.
Wicked, I wonder if I could build one and how much it would cost!
Just wondering, if anybody wants one they cost $1200000.

You may believe is real after retouching it for 4 hours.
More lights, please
More LED's...and perhaps a small iPod-esque style display for stuff like temp, load and status? And, one demo unit shipped directly to me please ;-)
It's a fake. If you have a laptop, you can tilt the screen back and see that the grille has a box (looks blue) around it. Would be nice if it were real though.
"...Ahh - I see you have the machine that goes "PING!..."
Macintosh Server G4 Dual 933MHz PowerPC G4 (Mac OS X)
1.5GB SDRAM - 3 DIMMs 065-3008
CD-RW + DVD-RAM Combo Drive
AirPort Card + Internal Base Station
Ultra SCSI PCI & cable adapter
Apple Pro Keyboard + Pro TrackPad
3x72GB Ultra160 dual-channel SCSI
GeForce3 Ultra - 64MB DDRRam
7 Unit Case
Any takers? E-mail email@example.com
It would need a lot more RAM to be a even lowend server.
On my PBG4 and my 22" at a tilt I do not notice the 'blue' line.
Its just a piece of fun, do not take it to heart as a threat.
It looks cool but...
I think Apple would make it more like the current G4 casing. The four handels would be flat on one side to slide in, and the casing would be grey and white on the top.
Otherwise it would be cool to have one!
Re: Made up off..
if people don't know this without you saying that, they should be shot.
I totally agree with monkeybuisness!
Blue box around grille
It is there. You are just not tilting the monitor correctly. It's NOT obvious at all unless you are looking for it. Also there is one brightness setting (on an ibook running os X.1.1), the fourth brightness unit makes it easier to see, but you don't have to tilt is very far at that setting.
