    Crucial seems to be quite popular among Mac Rumors members.

    I have got 2 sticks of 512 from them, came in 2 days (both times have been over the weekend), worked well. Prices are good too, any problems and they'll ship you another stick as I've heard from the few rare people who have had problems.

    Interesting comparison:

    Crucial = $94.99 for lowest priced 512MB PC3200 chip
    18004memory = $89 for most expensive 512MB PC3200 chip

    Of the 2 on crucial the one you mentioned is non-ECC and the other (more expensive) is.
    18004memory doesn't state the specs of the 512MB DIMM, but I bet it's not ECC. Making the price difference for the same memory only $6 for equal quality products. One is not worse than the other simply because it is the cheaper option from the manufacturer.
    ECC and non-ECC should not be mixed anyway, and I doubt the G5 uses ECC.

    I have had great success with 18004memory.com (aka Coast to Coast Memory). Their prices are great and the customer service, awesome.
