I'm going to pick up a PB in the next couple of months and was going to upgrade the RAM (not through apple), and was wondering what prices people have paid for a 1GB stick of RAM?

    I saw this site:

    http://shop2.outpost.com/product/3325732?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

and thought it's too good to be true, $169 when apple sells THEIR'S at $700!!! Has anybody used Kingston before, any complaints?

any help you provide is appreciated.

That's a 184-pin DIMM for an iMac/PowerMac. Good luck fitting that in a Powerbook  :p
