hey y'all, i did a bit of searching on the forums but didn't find what i wanted. Is it better to upgrade ram myself or take it into an apple store? i have a 2.16 ghz c2d with 1 gig of ram. I also will need to upgrade my hd in the fututre (i have the 120 gig hd) and plan to buy an external with firewire. So i wanted to ask what is better to do, take it into apple store (i have apple care) or upgrade ram myself, or buy an internal or external hd? also does anyone have any suggestions for a good hd (external or internal)? Thanks for any input.

Upgrading RAM is relatively easy and does not jeopardize your warranty.

Unless you damage the machine in the process (the favorite destructive trick is not using the correct size of screwdriver, and stripping out the screws.)
