I know the standard config 12" 867mhz comes with 256 mb of ram. But, does it have one 256 mb stick or two 128's? Also, the ram on the 17" 1gig imac is PC 2100 and it is notebook ram. Will it work in the REV A 12" PB?

The 12" PB came with built-in RAM and a SO-DIMM module. The built-in is soldered to the motherboard. There is only one SO-DIMM slot for RAM expansion.

You can use the user-accessible SO-DIMM from the iMac in the 12" PB. The factory built-in (non-user accessible) RAM module is not compatible with the PowerBook, however.
