    In these forums, people refer to their macs as "rev a" or "rev b" etc...
    what does the "rev" stand for? I'm thinkin its release + version = rev ? Yeah, i'm just curious.

    it means revision. so when an update is released to a product is is called a new revision of that product. that way people know exactly what model you are talking about.
