    Really liked 'Cranium'.

Congratulations on the stuff you've won for it.

Liked Cranium, Nice animation, thought you could have done more with the background, it looks like it has depth but is amybe just a little dark to make this clear.

I am a huge fan of Nick Park and the little things in animation make it for me, like the drumming of the fingers when he is sat.

Good story and voice how did you do this animation?

    John

It's a bit like some of the David Firth animations actually...

Thanks. I used Flash for the characters, and just photoshop'd the backgrounds. I used Maya for 'Duchamp'd', and edited both with Final Cut.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I am trying to get a job somewhere so I'm working to get my website hits up :)

Looks like some cool stuff. I really like Juan Svankmayer, Yuriy Norshteyn and Caroline Leaf. Graphically I am obsessed with Fransico Goya (I snuck in one of his etchings into the background of 'Duchamp'd').

This guy doesn't need luck. I liked it all a lot but what I really liked were your scribbly-drawings (sorry I don't know how else to describe them). They're top-notch.

They're blind drawings. You study an object and draw it without looking. It's quite fun because you get these wonderful abstractions. totally random.

    thanks for the comments.

The animation is brilliant. I think what I like most about your pieces is your choice of style vis-a-vis your story. Which is to say that I think the style of animation (and also the choice of live action for Miasma) did a lot to hold the work together and create an enjoyable piece -- the style itself really helped move the story forward.

If I were forced to pick something to improve, I would chose the acceleration/decceleration of the cans in Duchamp'd when they bounced. It didn't look 100% gravity-driven. (So I'm saying that I couldn't suspend my disbelief about a bouncing can, even though I had no problem with a walking lamp and an acrobatic stool?! )

"Movie credits are the number one cause of eye-strain and epilepsy among cinema audiences."
    :D

(BTW -- You did notice that on the Cranium page, the last line of text is overlapped by the Play Movie button. At least it is in Safari, but its Flash, so it should be the same, right? Not that you asked for input on web design....)

Thanks for the tip-off on the HTML. it looked fine through my Safari. May I ask what version u were using? it should be fine now.

Thanks for the input too. The 3D stuff is admittedly far-from-perfect but it's my first attempt! Thanks to everybody who's giving input. So hard to get honest opinions from friends / family.
