Recomended "FIRST CHARGE" for a new macbook

    Ill be getting my macbook from apple.com in the next couple days and wanted some advise on the best way to charge it the first time? How long, on or off, can i set it up while its charging the first time ext ext! And advise would be greatly appreciated and if you could pm me i would REALLY appreciate it!

    Just charge it up (it will arrive at about 50%) and then proceed to Callibrate the Battery.

    During the initial charge you can use the laptop; it really doesn't make a huge difference.

    How do u calibrate the battery! Sorry but ive had a ibook for6 years so this is all new to me!

    Charge to 100%, unplug it, and run the battery to 0%.

    i think ppl are quite paranoid about the charge... i mean, sure calibrate is important, but how to charge, on or off, to how much and etc is just paranoid... understandable, but paranoid

    (yes, this is my 1000th post)
