Hi,

Does anybody knows which DVD+R DL media works on the Intel iMac with Matshita DVD-R UJ-846 drive?

I've searched the web, but I couldn't find a list of recommended media. Most DVD drive manufacturers provide a list, but Apple/Matshita/Panasonic don't...or at least I couldn't find it.

In my experience, I've had a lot of trouble with certain brands and I don't like the built-in superdrive at all.

Has anyone successfully writen DVD+R DL on the iMac? if so, which brands?

I tested some "Imation" discs earlier in a Plextor writer....and they didn't work.

Brand / quality is important when writing DVD's. Some just fail when writing... and these discs are expensive.

Any should really work. Beyond that, it's really just a personal choice, like underwear. I personally just get the cheapest.
