I tried changing the login background as describe in https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/241007/ and when it didn't work I tried reversing the process and that didn't work either. I then tried clearing the caches with Onyx and repairing permissions but nothing worked.

Anyway, now after a restart I have a 'recovered files' folder in my trashcan which contains a '3243499065' folder which contains an 'EWSMac.framework' folder and a 'EWSMacCompress.tar.gz' file.

Can someone tell me what's going on and how to straighten it out. Thanks.

I'm getting the same EWSmac.framework folders in the library>frameworks folder and in my users>library>application support>esellerate folder.

Firstly, i don't know what the EWSmac.framework is, nor have i ever bought any software from esellerate, so i wonder whether i can just delete these?

anyone know?
