I understand that in order to replace the battery of the MacBook Air, you need to send it in to Apple. Is the procedure going to be the same as iPods? I know for iPods, they send you a refurb iPod with a new battery, instead of your own iPod. Therefore, I am wondering when you send your MBA for battery replacement, would they just send you a refurbed MBA?

Also, am I out of luck if I am the kind of person who takes 2 extra batteries with me on long trips? I have been to several places (and airplanes) where a single charged battery does not cut it.
