Repair Disc permissions mission Imp

Hi, Erik here from Eatraxx.
To make a long story short. Messed around with my leopard permissions and managed to lock all hard drives. Installed Mountain Lion on an ext HD and managed to unlock them. Problem - Cant by any means repair the permissions on my Leopard HD - no way to start up from it either - works fine apart from that - Startup disc in lion says " cant create start up cache on the selected drive. Tried disc tools, Drive genius, disc warrior - nothing works and would really like to be able to use that system as well.
