ok so i have to ask here since i have gone through every other option other then buying disk warrior. so this is what happen.

i got an external firewire case for my hard drives

so the last drive that need a case was put in. as i am in the process of refromating the drive. it freezes the program. so i restart it and nothing. the drive is gone.......

i put the drive in the other cases. and still no drive. so i have been looking for program i can use. i tried applejacks but since it is not my startup drive i dont think it was working. i even have tech tools. but nothing. ever program i use i cant find the disk. under system profile it is an unknown device.

does any one know how i can get the disk back.even just to reformat.

thanks

Well, you could always try the freezer trick, or if you have a PC, I know Maxtor has a free program called Power Max, but I don't know if it works on all drives.
