Does anyone know how much faster repair time would be if I were to purchase ProCare on top of the AppleCare I already own?

I have a rev. A MBP, purchased the day after the keynote, and have yet been able to part with it to repair the whine. I'm thinking about doing it over Thanksgiving weekend, but I need it back for school ASAP.

Most ProCare repairs are next day (desktops usually), but I have gotten the same service for regular AppleCare items...

If they have to send it away, count on a week.

Standard repair is really damn quick to start with.

I shipped my wife's Macbook in Thursday night for a dead 1394 port.
The status on Friday evening was "Repair Complete" with a tracking number.
I got it back this morning (Monday). So, I suppose it's about 3 days total.
