I don't know if Trinity dies or not, but when Reloaded came out, everyone posted to message boards and told everyone else that Trinity dies in The Matrix Reloaded. I was just making a reference to that.

Yeah, sadly it appears that Trinity does die in the final episode...

I heard some reviews from pre-screening that all said revolutions was a terrible movie...although they did mention reloaded was bad also...and I enjoyed reloaded so I am hoping these reviewers are just cynical.

Great, people are posting spoilers before the movie even opens

I'm not going to see Revolutions until Thursday so maybe I should just avoid community discussion until I see the movie.

edit: Good idea with the title edit Mr.A.

I modified the title to say spoilers, ok? All it said before was Revolutions. I did't want anyone else getting pissed off.....

I wouldn't have said anything if both of them had been a little smarter. Job at least made some attempt to warn people, but not Phil.

    Its just a common courtesy.

From me, it wasn't a spoiler. It was a fake spoiler. I have no clue if Trinity dies or not, but as I explained earlier, that was the most popular spoiler for Reloaded, so I said it as a reference, and later posted again to point that out.

"I don't know if Trinity dies or not, but when Reloaded came out, everyone posted to message boards and told everyone else that Trinity dies in The Matrix Reloaded. I was just making a reference to that."

I got to see a screening last night.

I'm going to file it under the "Sequel that should not have been made" category. Nice special effects does not make up for a poor story and outright bad acting at times. I'm just happy I didn't have to pay to watch that crap.

Still the fanboys will flock to see it and will all love every second of what's being spoon fed to them.

    But there is no spoon...;)

The matrix was a film whose timing was spot on, it broke new CGI ground and will be imitated for years, the two sequels are poor imitations that really should have been handled better, from what I've seen they are a triumph of style over content.

Keanu Reeves couldn't be more wooden if he was a tree.

I'll get them on DVD when they both arrive, cos the CGI and the audio post pro are excellent examples of the fields, and they are good for a though free evening in.

I didn't read your other post since I was upset at the first one.....

upset at Job's post? but it doesn't say anything. Phil's was right after that.

and what's this about spam? i thought it was a pretty funny joke, myself.

who really cares about spoilers on this movie? USA today gave it all of 1/2 a star. screenit.com gave it 3.5 *OUT OF TEN*

oh, S**T! don't ruin the end! i was all set up to be shocked like a pig stabbed with a prod! i was going to cry my eyes out! does you really die? OMG!

but you're making that assumption about me and any others who might have wanted to find out if we watched the movie.

I really don't like defending myself here, it shouldn't be necessary.

*but* in general, this should go for all future movie threads (we haven't had this problem for previous movies, btw) - if you're going to talk about things in the movie, indicate it in the title.

This thread didn't until I changed it. I might have taken it a little harder than necessary, not having read any reviews yet, but regardless, its all just a request to have people think about what they're posting before hitting the submit button.

i don't understand. did Job give a spoiler and then take it down? i don't see how he could have indicated a spoiler, since all he did was put emoticons in for the spoiler. so are you mad at maluscanis? i can understand that, i guess, but he couldn't have added a title. i guess he should have added a warning on his comment, though, but it looks like he just took phil's joke seriously.

i can see that this is annoying, but i don't see anyone specifically to get angry at, and i don't see that it really warrants getting huffy over--it's just a misunderstanding.

job wrote the spoiler in white text.

If you're using the default theme, it shows up.

no, if you read the thread, you'll note that it wasn't a spoiler from Phil: he hadn't seen it yet--it was just a joke predicated upon the fact that just bfore Reloaded lots of people were saying that Trinity dies.

Who cares about spoilers, if you don't want to read them then DOn't!

Man!, If you can't control your world or body enough to prevent reading what may be a spoiler on a bulletin board.

Then you shouldnt see the movie!

Give me a break from the whining...

Its just sad, go and see the movie and then your fear of spoiler will be over.

I thought that it was a good movie.

Sadly it wsnt as good as the first, it does seem like the first can't be topped.

But there were some very good scenes, that were quite powerful in a psychological manner.
