I was wondering if anyone knew of a good, preferably free, program for ripping just audio from a DVD. I have a few live concerts that I would like to put on my iPod, sans video.

I use OSEx and mAC3dec but only in 10.3.9 since one of them doesn't work in 10.4.

Check out this thread for more ideas.

I'm not so sure about free options, but Audio Hijack from Rogue Amoeba should do what you want.

In the past I've used ffmpegx to rip the audio from a DVD, but I'm not 100% sure how to do it again. It's one of the "tools" options. Perhaps someone else has done something similar with ffmpegx and remembers?
