    Hi..

Ive recently started playing Rise of nations gold. The game was running just fine in the first campagins, but when i got to the age where i could develop gunpowder it lags horrible in combat. Im seeing around 2-8 fps in some of my battles. It seemes when fighting with arrows/swords it works just fine ;)

    Anyone else expericing this?

My system are iMac isight 2.1Ghz, 1.5GB ram.

Nope... runs just fine on my upgraded Qwoosh. Dual 1.33GHz G4s, 128MB video card.

What video card do you have?

ATI Radeon X600 XT, 128MB DDR SDRAM.

Even running at 1024x768, with all graphics settings to low gives me lag...

That's weird.. I'm maxed out and don't see any at all.

Is your processor set to high on your iMac?

I play just fine on my Dual 1 Ghz G4... and even better (everything maxed) on my 1.8 ghz iMac G5.

    Hmmm...

    Well, standard troubleshooting applies..

Does it do the same thing logged in as another user (create if need be)?
    Anything relevant in the logs?

No problems running it, with all the setting turned up, on my 2.3GHz DP Power Mac G5. Maybe you should try re-installing it, the game should be running smooth as butter on your 2.1GHz iMac G5.

My Rev. B manages to hit around 55fps normally, and just above 30fps in really big battles on high settings. Is your processor performance on highest and if so have you tried reinstalling RoN?
