Hi, I currently have a mid-2009 13" MBP, and I'm looking to give this to my mother and upgrade to something newer/better. I've been looking at two rMBP 15" on Apple's website, and I'm not sure which one I would need, or which one would be overkill for my needs. I use my MBP for web surfing, streaming video, music, and I'm going to start getting into music production [Ableton or FL Studio]. Here are the two I'm looking at:

Are they too much? Do I need something more? I appreciate your time and advice. Thanks guys.

^ this.

Also note that unless you live in NY, B&H doesn't charge sales tax. So basically for the price of the lower-spec'd one+tax through Apple, you can get the higher end one through B&H.
