    Rock Show Concert Posters 2.0

Rock Show 2.0 is now available, check out the article on IntoMobile.

Some of the new bands you might dig include MGMT, Band of Horses, The Killers, Phish, The Roots, and the Black Keys. New posters from Wilco, and Blitzen Trapper.

The app lets you cruise through posters, and puts both the Wikipedia page just one tap away. All posters shown are available for purchase. Once a poster sells out, it is pulled from view.

More posters are getting added all the time. We'd love to get your feedback on the app and ways you might improve it.

The screenshots tell the story, (check out the gallery of screenshots on Flickr).

So ... this app won't work with an iPhone?

Is there a reason for that or am I just now doing something wrong?

Under requirements it says iPhone 3.1

P.S I'd love it with my iPhone (even if it looks better with the Pad)

    Hey there,

Right now this app is exclusively for the iPad. I'll get the requirements updated.

Just downloaded the 1.1 update. Much more stable and I just love the interface on the iPad. Really neat and different App.

    Hey Rob,

I have checked it out, and I have to say, the app itself looks and works fantastic. My only issue, is all the posters are of that same "style" of art, and if you're not a fan of that style, there's not much that's going to keep people coming back. It seems pretty selective and I was hoping for more then just limited edition posters. Do you have plans to even add as many official posters for tours, in their original style and creation?

    Thank you, very much.
This is some good feedback and questions. We launched last week with about a dozen different designers from the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada. We will continue to expand this our breadth of designers and the selection of posters available. We're also working on ways to make it easier to follow a particular designer.

In fact, the posters you see in Rock Show today are all official posters from the band's tours. Band management generally works with a venue promotor and a designer to have the poster made. Occasionally, a designer gets to do a complete tour's poster like Animal Rummy's 2008 Raconteurs set, but in general a band's concert posters have different designers for different tour dates.

    Hello!

I'm writing to update everyone on the new features in Rock Show. Since I last updated, we've released version 1.3 which includes a visual makeover, better music playback and more.

    Download Rock Show in iTunes

If dig live music and you haven't tried Rock Show, you must download it. We've worked hard to deliver a killer free app that lets you browse some awesome concert posters.

Please see original post for updated screenshots.

    Hello MR forums.

We've added a grip of new posters since last checking in. One designer who recently joined the app is Ames Bros. They're responsible for a posters from a number of major international acts including Pearl Jam.

If you haven't yet, please try out Rock Show Concert posters, a universal app for the iPad and iPhone.
