    Hallelujah!
I'm obsessed with this game. However, RCT 3 is HORRIBLE and I hate it.
I like the original and 2 with the expansion packs.

RCT3 runs slow fps wise on even high end machines. On the mac, this will probably be deadly slow...

I agree. The originals were easy on systems and were great. In the latest incarnation, it has been overly animated and redesigned, turning it into a system hog.

sweet. thats what ive been wanting for a while.

I think I was able to run RCT1 and/or 2 on VirtualPC 7 on my PowerBook... i dont remember, but it should run, since I was running this RCT on an old Pentium 200 way back when...

hmmm. as much as the 3D one looks impressive i really prefare RCT1 and 2. they were just amazing, the gameplay and just sheer addictiveness was dangerous. i played a bit of the 3D one, didn't have the same feel. but who knows, may be just as good once you're used to the controls.

    Give it a try

I will definetely try it out, but like everyone else, I loved RCT 1. It was the only program I kept when I "switched". When I got VPC about a year later I installed it, and it was probably the most used program on my machine. I hope RCT3 captures at least a little of that fun.

System requirements are out and it's very, very good news if you're running on a lower end machine:

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later
CPU Processor: PowerPC G4/G5 or later
CPU Speed: 1GHz or faster (1.2GHz recommended)
Memory: 256 MB or higher (512 MB recommended)
Hard Disk Space: 2.0 GB free disk space
Video Card (ATI): Radeon 9000 or better
Video Card (NVidia): GeForce FX5200 or better
Video Memory (VRam): 32 MB or higher
    Media Required: DVD Drive

The price is ok too: £30UK from some sites or £35 on Amazon.co.uk - do they do price matching?
