Can anyone tell me what needs to be done so that PC users using MS Explorer 7 can read the RSS feed just like Safari 2.0 users?

When PC users click on the RSS link, all they see is the xml codes where Safari 2 can view without any problems.

Is there additional codes that will enable PC users to view the RSS page like Safari 2 users can?

    Thanks

Sounds like an IE bug. A url to the XML file should be all that's needed for any RSS reader.

    Thanks for your reply.

Let's assume that the user only has Explorer and no reader on their machine.

When the PC user goes to Microsoft web site, they can read the RSS there but when they go to another site with standard 2 RSS, they only see xml codes and not the actual RSS like we see on Safari.

One option would be to use Feedburner's Service (http://www.feedburner.com/fb/a/home). It's free and what it does is lets you customize the way your feed looks, provides subscriber tracking/stats, and gives users, without rss support, an alternate page (sort of like this: http://www.feedburner.com/fb/a/feed101) that explains what an rss feed is as well as what browsers or clients they can download.
