I have a friend that is wondering if Sheepshaver is fast enough to run old OS9 3D and 2D CAD Programs on a 1.25ghz G4 with 512 MBs of RAM. Is it worth it?

Oh, and another thing. Is it possible to partition the hard drive and install both Mac OS 9 and keep Mac OS X on there with this eMac? Or run classic mode with Tiger?

I don't know the answer, but I'm surprised at the low RAM. I maxed out the RAM on all my Macs, and especially with an older model.

Don't use SheepShaver, use classic w/Tiger. It'll be much more reliable. However, I would expect most anything to run like a pig with only 512MB of RAM.
