well i'm DL'ing the new Resident Evil 4 trailer. so i've just let the download go, it kind of stopped at 29MB, so i stopped it in the Downloads window, the resumed it ok. i just checked it now to see what's happening with it... i thought it should be finished by now.

well i got a bit of a surprise, check out the pic. you can see from the MenuMeters that i'm still downloading something, and no other webpages are opening, it's just the download going.

so what went wrong with it?

also, i tried to unzip it, and it's stuffed. well, not really. i tried Expander and that didn't work either. it really is zipped though, not stuffed. :p ooohhhhh... i really need sleep now.

so what's happened? am i the pround owner of a freak software bug? :D

I suspect a miscommunication between Safari and the web server you downloaded that file from caused this weird occurrence. If the file won't open, you'll probably need to delete the corrupt file and download it again. I've had some bizarre problems with zip files decompressing as CPGZ files, then those decompressing as zip files, then CGPZ, zip, CPGZ, zip...I never get a usable file.
