How funny is that? We post the same thread at almost the same time, with the same title!

    :)

Coolness! I hope the flash speed up is significant, anyone tested that out yet?

Is it just me or does it open in the center of the screen as opposed to off-center like before?

Edit: I just checked some Flash sites and some .swf files on my iBook, the speed seems normal as far as I can tell.

    WARNING

    WARNING

Do not install v60 if you do local web development. I can no longer access my local sites properly. Safari tells me that it couldn't connect to the server as it's busy, yeah right! It will only load 25-30% of the images on any given page and generates an error for each image that it doesn't display.
I've never had this problem before and the sites still work in IE and ALL other browsers.

    Re: WARNING

I'm not having that problem. I can even access secure areas on my local sites.

Actually it's running better on my local machine than it was before.

    This is not good

Well, I downloaded the update to find that I can't view any graphics on any websites. To top it off, I still can't use hotmail because of javascript errors.

Is anyone else having these problems?

    Major Improvements

Flash sites that were previously unusable are now fluid. I love it!:D

flash is much faster. However, I'm still hooked on Chimera. After activating pipelining withChimera Booster, I think it still remains significantly faster than Safari v.60 (although the snapback feature is pretty nice with Safari). Plus I can't go back after experiencing tabbed browsing. (heard that this is now working with the latest Konqueror build though)

    What do others think?

    Dock

Hotmail works, that's good. But I am having a new problem, with the dock. I drag a copy of the new safari over to the dock to add it and it appears. Then when I click on the icon there, a new icon appears at the end of the dock, doubling the space and making everything else smaller.

Anyone else with this problem? Am I just doing something stupid-like?

    Re: Dock

Did you first replace your old Safari with the new one (in your Applications folder) before copying to the dock?

    Re: Dock

Can't say I've had it but it really isn't hard to fix. Delete Safari from the Dock and open it from the Apps folder. Click on it in the dock and hold the button until you get the menu and say "Stay in Dock" I think it is. Then just put it where you want it.

If you check you'll find you are opening different apps though.

Ok then. If everyone else seems to be able to use Hotmail, why can't I? Hmmmm....

Just tried Hotmail again. It worked, but only after I told it that I wanted to try another e-mail account, even though I just re-typed the one I wanted to use. Hmmm.. Oh well, who cares, it works now!

    Gus

    Works Great Now

I had that problem before and you are right....it now opens centered on the screen. Still have to do little adjusting, but much better. Thanks Apple.

    Apple.com

The tabs on Apple's homepage seem to be centered properly now.
