    So I'm finally getting a Powerbook! :D

But I was wondering if anyone knew of any way to save some a few bucks on it. I heard something about $100 off sale until the end of June, but I don't remember the specifics. Can somoene fill me in on this if they know?

And I also heard about the education sale. I'll get a discount since I'm a student, but I don't know if it's worth it to wait for the sale if this $100 off thing is still running and valid with my student discount. Also, when does this usually take place?

Other information is welcome as well. Anything that'll help me at all. Thanks!

+ you can participate in the education sale YEAR ROUND. as long as you are a student/teacher... this sale is open to you.
on the bottom left of the apple store page is the education page with its special discounted merchandise.

+ this spring promo, or "100 dollars off deal" can be used IN CONJUNCTION with the special education pricing. However, your 100 dollars off is actually a rebate, which you have to send in. pay close attention to the rules/regulations.

+ It would also be helpful to use the SEARCH feature in these forums, seeing as they really do help people out. (and save server space)

    + Hope that helps

I'm thinking that they may do the Cram and Jam deal again where you get $200 off if you buy a laptop and an iPod. So you may want to wait for that.

I'm thinking that ought to be almost guaranteed. I wonder if they might do anything more aggressive since it seems a lot of people are reluctant to buy now (myself included).
