Hey guys I was wondering if there was a way to save a network drive on your computer. For example, when you map a network drive on Windows, it stays in there and it reconnects every time you log on or come out of sleep mode. On the Mac, it disconnects and stays disconnected when you log on or come out of sleep. If possible, how can I save the network drive on my Mac?

    Thanks

That's not what the original poster meant. The problem is, you map a SMB-Share on your mac and when the server goes offline, or you go oline somewhere else and have no connection to your home network, the share is disconnected and will not come back, even if you have access to it again.

This is the one thing that bugs me out most about my mac. For the life of me i can't figure out if there's a solution, but i guess there is none.

DAVE will reconnect automatically, unfortunately it costs almost as much as OS X itself :( At least they have a trial so you can see if it would work for you...

Uhh, yea...lol. Thanks but I would rather live with it than spend that kind of money. Any other workarounds that anyone knows of?
