Scam or not a scam?

    makes sense. you are basically having 29 other people pay for your ipod. it will only work if the scheme keeps on going.

    in the end, the website gets £750 to dispatch a £400 iPod. sounds like a good deal to me... :rolleyes:

    this is basically a modified pyramid scheme, also called a "gifting club," and, if run out of the united states, would be shut down, because it is illegal.

    Don't worry US Laws would simply call it a pyramid scheme, they just try to use different words -- but the effect and operation is the same.

    Usually in the US you would see the further explanation...

    "But we're not a pyramid scheme, we're a gift club." :rolleyes:
