Need help setting up Neat Scanner through home network.
I don't have a Neat scanner, but my experience with networked scanners is not ideal.
What I have done is attached a scanner via USB to my iMac. I've pointed the destination to a dropbox folder called "shared scanner"... and I've shared it with everyone in the family. I've done the same on my iMac for everyone's personal login (which they seldom use. Hence, anyone can log into the iMac using their own account, and scan to the shared folder... then get it from whatever computer they wish. They can also hand me something if I am using my computer... which I will scan for them... and they can pick it up from dropbox on their own machine(s).
