In Scribus, if I put a .psd file into it, it interperets the colours incorrectly. It turns white into yellow, and black into white (I have only put a black and white image in so far). However if I turn it into a .jpg, the colours are fine. I am happy doing this, however I was wondering whether it is an easy problem that I can sort out, so I don't have the hassle of changing the formats.
I have also had trouble with other colours in images, but I have forgotten what these colours were, but I'm sure it was a .jpg
