Following their September 16 debut in more than 25 countries around the world, the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus are seeing their second wave launch today, debuting in a number of additional countries across Europe and the Middle East.

The iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus are now available for purchase in the following locations: Andorra, Bahrain, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Greenland, Guernsey, Hungary, Iceland, Isle of Man, Jersey, Kosovo, Kuwait, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Maldives, Malta, Monaco, Poland, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, and Slovenia.

With today's second wave launch, Apple's latest devices have rolled out to more than 55 countries, and will expand to India in the near future with an October 7 launch date planned.

In many countries, supplies of the iPhone 7 and especially the iPhone 7 Plus are likely to be severely constrained, as Apple has been struggling to meet demand. In the United States, Apple had no iPhone 7 Plus stock available for walk-in customers on launch day, with all supplies having gone to pre-order customers.

Wait times are up to three to five weeks for the most popular iPhone models, like the Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus, in many countries, with lower two to three week shipping estimates for other devices.

The iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus feature better water resistance, much improved cameras (with a dual-camera for the 7 Plus), faster processors, brighter, more vivid displays, a redesigned Home button powered by a new Taptic engine and no headphone jack.

The Apple Watch Series 1, Apple Watch Series 2, and Apple Watch Edition are launching in new countries today as well, including Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Cayman Islands, Croatia, Czech Republic, El Salvador, Greece, Guam, Hungary, Jersey, Kuwait, Macau, Monaco, Poland, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia and the US Virgin Islands.

Apple Watch Hermès Series 2 models are also available as of today in Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Macau, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, UAE, the UK and the US.

Looking at the picture, it occurs to me that the popularity of the two black models might have something to do with the fact that they're the first iPhones in six years that don't have obvious antenna lines.
Or it simply could be the trend to darker colors. Black wheels on cars, slate kitchens, dark granite countertops, growth in sales of black or dark color cars, or the fact that the iPhone hasn't had a true black option for many years now.

I appreciate that Apple want to launch in as many countries as possible and that people in those countries will want these launches as early as possible too.
However, it is extremely frustrating to see them to do this when myself, and many more who ordered on 9th as soon, as we could are still waiting on deliveries.
I ordered a plus 128 matte black and still have an estimated delivery of the 30th.
Good luck to those who are in these second wave countries and hopefully my delivery might live up a day or two.

I ordered my iPhone 7 Plus Jet Black on the 12th of September. My dispatch date is "Some time in November" and now they're launching in all these other countries haha - They can expect their phones when? January? March? haha .... kill me.

Only a week away (or less)!

Just picked up mine this morning. Walked right into an AT&T store first thing this morning and it was in stock. Yayyy!

I haven't seen any Indian scalpers at any Apple stores this time. I remember the craziness around the iPhone 6 launch when Chinese scalpers took over Apple store lines everywhere.

Funny story..... I preordered 2 phones. 1 Matt black for me, 1 Jet black for my husband....
I ordered via the apple store app, and paid by Apple pay.

16th September... I receive my iPhone 7 (love it!), I install it (as new phone).... I check everything is ok and wipe off my iPhone 6.
A week goes by and today I receive an email from Apple that they tried to take payment for the outstanding phone but was rejected.

After a lot of thinking and discussing with my bank, we realised that the issue stems from wiping off my iPhone 6, as the data from my Apple pay was linked to the iPhone 6 and when I created my new phone Apple pay can't make contact with my phone and therefore rejects it.

A long phone call later to Apple and we managed to change the payment method from apple pay to my card (not easy).

I'm hoping this does not mean that I missed my spot and my husband will need to continue his wait...........(hard to live with when I'm enjoying mine)

Lesson learned, don't use apple pay to preorder from a phone you are going to get rid of

Let's see how India responds with prices tagged over ~$1000s for the base model.

1. India is only receiving it October 7th. Two weeks from now.

2. The base model is reported to sell at RS 60,000. That's $899, not "$1000". Yes, it's a lot, but that's because the Indian government provides so much for their people, the taxes are justified.

That is interesting as I am sure a lot of of people use apple pay to preorder phones so I am not sure how this hasn't come up before.
